Cardens Sponsors ‘Best Local’ at the 2020 BRAVO Awards
Cardens is pleased to sponsor ‘Best Local’ at the 2020 BRAVO Awards: the only food and drinks awards in the city voted for entirely by the public.
The brand new ‘Best Local’ award category has 135 pubs to choose from. Show your appreciation for your favourite local pubs by voting for them here. If you do, you’ll also be in with a change of winning £200 to spend in a local venue.
Voting is open until the 15th March. To vote and find out more visit the Restaurants Brighton website.
2019 welcomed 29,874 public votes and with this year’s awards set to be bigger and better than the last, the BRAVOs are a fantastic way for local food and drink businesses to engage with existing and new customers. 550 Brighton venues taking part already and we’re looking forward to a lively event this year.
Why we wanted to get involved
Cardens wanted to get involved as the BRAVO’s (Brighton Restaurant Awards Vote Online) supports local businesses, including some of our clients, such as last years ‘Best Budget Bites’ winner, The Real Junkfood Project.
Paul Loman of The Real Junkfood Project commented:
“[The BRAVOs] certainly improved our profile in the city. We find many more people have heard about us and that was a massive benefit during our recent fundraising efforts. The folk at BRAVO awards are great at publicising all the winners and to be frank, it’s a valuable marketing resource for which we’re thankful”.
Following on from their success the Real Junk Food Project has gone on to successfully crowdfund to open Brighton’s first pay-as-you-feel cafe, set to open in Brighton’s North Laine in 2020. Restaurants Brighton, the team behind the BRAVOs has pledged to offer The Real Junk Food Project cafe life-long media partnership.
