CARDENS GAMBLE ON THE OLD CASINO IS PAYING OFF

office

On Thursday 24th November, Cardens accountants in Hove will be celebrating the 2nd anniversary of moving into their offices at the Old Casino, Fourth Avenue Hove.

The grade 2 listed offices are above the Hove Club in Fourth Avenue and were previously occupied by Grosvenor Casinos, hence the office name The Old Casino.

Partner Keith Hall said “We knew we were going to out-grow our old offices on Church Road, Hove well before the move and it took a while to find the perfect office. As advisors to many growing businesses in the city, we were very aware of the shortage of suitable office space for businesses of our size”

He added “It took around a year from the first time we saw the office as the old Grosvenor Casino until we were able to move all of the staff in but it was well worth the wait. We had around 30 staff at the time we moved in and two years later we are up to nearly 50, so it has allowed us to continue with our growth plans”

Cardens have also recently been appointed as the only independent accountancy firm in England to be approved for public sector audit work after a 3 month long application and review process by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales ( ICAEW ).
